NA East FNCS Chapter 2 Season 8 Week 1 Finals: Predictions & Drop Spot Map
Looking at the NA East drop spot map and predictions for today's week one finals!
With Europe’s FNCS week one finals underway, it’s time to prepare for the NA East finals. Countless exceptional teams earned the right to compete for a top-five spot—guaranteeing them position in the Season 8 Finals. It’s an important perk of playing the FNCS Qualifiers since Epic Games has abbreviated heats and expanded the Reboot Round.
Today, we’ll look at the NA East drop spot map and provide some predictions for what could unfold.

Yellow = Uncontested Primary POI
Red = Contested Drop
Light Blue = Uncontested Split Drop
As usual, the drop spot map above is tentative since it’s impossible to account for any last-minute changes. As you can see, there’s a lot of red, meaning multiple trios plan to contest each other off the spawn.
However, some critical teams we can point toward as “favorites” come out inside the top five. Again, it’s important to point out that there’s no sure thing. Fortnite is an inherently unpredictable game, but you can think of these predictions as more educated guesses.
Predictions
Bugha, Mero & Muz
The new trio of Bugha, Mero and Muz looked excellent yesterday. Muz — the Aussie standout — settled nicely into a team that includes perhaps the best fragger in the NA East region and Fortnite’s only Solo World Champ. They are landing Misty Meadows in the finals with easy rotations and Storm Surge opportunities. There’s no reason to believe they won’t finish inside the top five in their first FNCS weekly final.
Commandment, Cented & Stretch
Most people will predict Commandment, Cented and Stretch to win week one, and it’s hard to disagree. They’ll have Lazy Lake uncontested and should find success playing the low-ground and racking up eliminations left and right. There’s not much more to say — expect Commandment, Cented and Stretch to be at the top of the leaderboard.
Threats, Edgey & Rise
Threats, Edgey and Rise are another highly-touted team out of the NA East region. Edgey has nothing to prove after agreeing to leave Commandment and Cented, but a finish higher than his former teammates would be gratifying. Edgey and company have Holly Hedges and Viking to themselves with Storm Surge targets south and north. It should be a successful day out of these three.
Jamper, Deyy & Tragix
Jamper, Deyy and Tragix have been arguably the best NA East trio so far this season — much to the surprise of most watchers. A Trio Cash Cup and Cash Cup Extra win makes them a top team heading into the finals. They will land at Dirty Docks uncontested, and Deyy is no stranger to this POI. Expect these three players to find themselves in a position for a top-five finish.
